Disney Side Celebration - Mickey Game Night!

Thank you Disney Side Celebrations for being part of our Mickey Game Night. And providing us with fun Mickey Decor.
Friday nights for us as a family are either game nights or movie nights. So we thought it would be perfect to include a little bit of Disney Magic.

We decorated right before game night with fun Mickey tablecloth, party decorations,
cups and napkins. As a centerpiece we used the cute Mickey cupcakes my sister made.

             We had kid friendly appetizers.

Yummy Pizza! You can never go wrong with pizza.

After dinner we had lots of fun decorating Mickey ears. A perfect DIY for a Mickey game night.

After the ear fun we had those yummy Mickey cupcakes.

Then it was time for the games! We play DisneyPicture bingo, Disney Trivia, and  fun with balloons.

During the whole night we listened to "now that's what I call Disney". We rented it from the library and would recommend it to every Disney fan. Best 50 cents spent ever!

Over all we had a fun Mickey Game night and would definitely add Disney to any game or movie night again. It just makes the experience more magical.

What would be your ideal Disney Side Celebration?

See ya real soon!

Disney Side Celebration Box Opening

I'm so happy and excited to be part of Disney Side Celebrations. Disney is a big part of our family. I grew up Disney and so have my kids. I've had annual passes on and off since the late 90s to Disneyland.  Disney is in my blood. It's just that magic I can't live without.

Disney has given people across the country a chance to show their Disney Side at home by having a party. We are very excited to be a part of it. My kids were thrilled to see Disney on the box and couldn't wait to open it. It's a huge 24 lb box.
This suitcase is why the box is so big. It's a very nice suitcase with lots of compartments. Black on the outside and red on the inside just like Mickey! The wheels in the bottom are amazing they spin around 360 degrees.

Here are the party supplies. Classic Mickey.

Two packs of craisins (which I love), the chew measuring cups, and the adorable Mickey cookie cutters.

Disney Trivia (I'm gonna win) and picture bingo.

A ton of HP photo paper to print out pictures or make invites.

iPhone 5 storyteller phone case. Storyteller is an app you can use to make your own stories with your own pictures.

Disney Parks DVD and cute Mickey luggage tag.

Muppets most wanted calendar. We can't wait for the new movie! Kermmmiieee!

Wrist bands and large blank cards.

And last but not least. These super cute Mickey and Minnie posters!

So Disney has given us a green light to take the party where we want it to go. We're still deciding if we're going have an unbirthday party or really celebrate my daughters birthday because it's in February. So keep an eye out on all social media for video and pictures. Hopefully our celebration can inspire your future Disney celebrations.

Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Vox Box Review

I was sent three colors from Sally Hansens Complete Salon Manicure line from influenster to review. Influenster is a website that let's you try out new things of many different types. I was happy to get this Vox Box because I am a polish aholic and a fan of Sally Hansen. The Complete Salon Maincire line is supposed to have good color coverage, speedy application, streak free, a bigger brush, and a time saver. Sally Hansens also says that it has 7 benefits in one bottle. Base coat, strengthener, growth treatment, color, top coat, chip resistant, and gel shine finish. I was kind of skeptical at first, because that's what we all want in a nail polish right? So I had to try them all out, even though one exploded in delivery.

Pat on the Black is a pretty cream dark burgundy. Not black at all. This color was 2 coats. To my surprise the application was pretty quick. This color also dried quickly. I work with kids so I'm really hard on my nails. The color stayed on nicely for quite a few days. I was also impressed with the shine. You don't know how much I wanted to put a top coat anyway.
      First day                          Second day

Red My Lips is a cool cream red. This color was also 2 coats. The application was quick for this one too. But for some reason this color took longer to dry. This one also lasted a long while without chipping. The color was not the right red for me, I usually choose deeper reds or more orangey reds.
               First day

Jaded is a pretty cream. I would say it turned out more Tiffany blue with a touch of green. This color since it is lighter took 3 coats. I also got the most complements on this color. Out of the three this is the color I would put top coat on the most.

This picture is from 3 days of use.

Overall I'm impressed. These are great for the woman on the go. Paint and go.

The brush: big, if you have small nails this might cause a problem.
The strengthener: Not as good as putting Sally Hansen strengthener right on the nail, but still good.
Growth treatment: They did grow.
Colors: I haven't looked at these in stores, but I always want more glitter.
Top Coat: You could do without, but if your anything like me, you want one anyway. The polish holds up to even the toughest of wearers (me) and is shiny.
Bottle: Design is nice. The top is held nicely in the hand.

Sally Hansen is a Complete Knock out! These would make a good addition to anyone's nailpolish collection. Thank You Sally Hansen and Influenster for letting me try these out!

Braun Forehead Thermometer Review

I received the Braun forehead thermometer from influenster to review. This voxbox as specifically just for the thermometer. I was very happy to receive this. I have been thru so many thermometers and have never been happy. So when the doctor asked me if I knew how high my children's temperatures were I never felt comfortable answering. But now with this thermometer I can feel confident.

I absolutely love that it came with batteries and were easy to install.

It has a protector for when your not using it and seems very easy to clean.

This thermometer is so easy to use the directions are on the thermometer it's self. It seems pretty accurate too. There are 3 different colors to indicate weather the temp is normal (green) mid temp (yellow) or high (red).  Needless to say I'm very happy and would recommend it to anyone, especially if they have kids. What thermometer do use?

Cindy Crawfords Meaning Beauty creme de serum Review

I recieved Cindy Crawfords Meaningful Beauty creme de serum thru Influenster to review . Since I'm getting older and my skins needs are changing I was happy to receive this. I have been interested in the line since I've seen it on tv.
The packaging is great it has a pump applicator which is great for keeping fresh and germ free. I love the way the two serums intertwine in the bottle, it looks cool and also comes out like that.
The cream is creamy but not greasy or thick. One pump is all you need. The bottle says for morning or night use, but I would definitely use at night to give it time to sink in. These next pics are my before and after pics. You might not be able to see much difference, but I can. My skin looks instantly youthful. But no my fine lines didn't just disappear like most women want.
                      Before

                          After

Overall I recommend this serum for night use. I would love to try the whole system. If you want to try the whole system go check out their site  http://www.meaningfulbeauty.com.   Have you used this line?

NYC Sparkle Eye dust Review

Hi guys long time no type I know! But I'm back and to review this shimmery eyeshadow I received from Influenster in my Paradise Vox Box.

NEW VERSION! What a difference!

OLD VERSION
Now for all you drugstore makeup collectors might have noticed, this is a revamp on the original eye dust. Which is a big improvement applicator wise! I had no idea until I started doing a bit of research that this is the same product! The eyeshadow is still a great product as the original. I'm a lover of loose eyeshadow or aka pigments, because there are so many possibilities with this kind of eyeshadow.

                                   FLASH

As you can see by theses swatches is gives great color with one swipe. And the shimmer is not too over powering! But sad to say for makeup lovers as myself I use brushes so this sponge applicator, while better the the original, I just have no use for applicators. Now if you're  a simple gal then this is definitely a plus for you! As for the color, and quality of the shadow it is great and
I would buy more. Its smooth and easy to work with. To get more information about NYC's Sparkle Eye dust, check out their site.
